Detailed News

Inspector General Of Police, Henry Mutyambai has said that security has been tightened around the entry points to the zoned area. He confirmed that more 3000 warders have been deployed around the area with 33 roadblocks erected on the main entry roads. President Uhuru Kenyatta issued an order to lock down the counties of Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Nakuru and Kiambu.

Following the president’s orders, all meetings including church gatherings and county assembly sessions were banned. This is a great hit to the Easter holidays which start tomorrow. “These roadblocks will be maned day and night to ensure total compliance with the presidents directives,” He said

“The curfew prescribed to zoned areas shall remain until further notice. We commit to being human as we discharge our mandate,” “As we speak, commissioner general for prisons has released 3,000 officers to provide security during this season,” “Soft approach is more appropriate so that we can fight this disease. Kenyans should report cases of people going against MOH protocols,”

During the easter holidays, most kenyans move out of the city to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones. There shall be no such movements.
