Alice for change win Ksh.6 million for empowerment of girls

It was good news for Kenyans as the charity organisation, Alice for change were declared the winners of `From Milan to the world’ contest organised by the AC Milan football club. The Kenyan charity organisation claimed 53.2 % of close to 27,000 votes cast by the fans around the world.

AC Milan football club stated that they were pleased with the project submitted by the Kenyan charity organisation. Alice for Children aimed to use football as a tool of unity and education. Alice for children has been providing for around 2500 children in the slums with clothing, food and educational and medical support for more than 15 years. So we can say that t was well deserved.

Alice for girls to create first professional girls league

AC Milan has gifted Alice for girls Ksh.6 Million to complete their ongoing project, whereby they want to create the first professional girls league in Kenya with 1300 girls residing in six slums in Nairobi, aged from 10 to 18. AC Milan football club noted that the money will help the girls in their education and bring out generational role models.
