This incident occurred after a woman was caught in Nandi County after she was suspected to be an informant of the terror group.
Al-Shabaab on the rise again?
The unfortunate police officers that were in the National Police Service lorry managed to evade a grenade attack upon which Al-Shabaab terror group showered the lorry with bullets killing two police officers and injuring other ten police officers.
A witness that was around the area stated that the Al-Shabaab fired a lot of bullets towards the lorry managing to deflate the tyres. The driver however managed to pass through while speeding off. Rono Bunei, the North East Region police commander confirmed that several police officers have been recruited to the region to inspect, track and seize the terror group.
