Governor Tunui Survives a Chopper Crash in Narok – Video
A choper carrying Governor Tunui crashlanded in Narok a few minutes after take off in Eldamat, Narok county.
The governor was leaving for a funeral of Tompo ole Sai when the ordeal happened.
Those who witnessed reported that there were more than four failed attempts to take off.
After finally achieving a take-off in the fifth round, it flew unstably only to crashland about a hundred metres from take-off point.
Tunui and those on-board were immediately rushed to hospital with a red cross ambulance. The governor and his counterparts didn’t sustain serious injuries.
The area MCA confirmed to the people that Governor Tunui was safe as there is nothing to worry about.
As the chopper was making take-off attempts, it attracted a good crowd to witness the process. It is not yet clear what might have caused such trouble.
