- It has been revealed that TSC services are tough to get before bribery.
- The highlighted service is pension processing.
- Cartels within the TSC corridors collect bribes on behalf of officials
- TSC C.E.O Nancy Macharia advised teachers to avoid giving bribes and follow due process.
As per The Nation, teachers have been having a hard time getting services from TSC headquarters due to the rogue system installed there. Many teachers have faced the hell in and around the offices by having service delivery delayed for years making them vulnerable to cons.
TSC pension processing has been identified as the main plate for cartels and cons within and around TSC. The officials shall delay a teachers pension processing for years after which the teacher shall start following up. Desperate and worn out with the never-ending process, a retired teacher shall visit the TSC headquarters in a bid to find the issue from the top most bureaucracy.
However upon such visits and disclosures, desperate retired teachers fall prey to cons and cartels outside and inside the TSC headquarters who promise to help them get their pension processed within weeks.
The tsc CEO, Nancy Macharia responded by urging teachers to be careful not to be coned. Agreeing to the existence of rogue officers and cartels in TSC headquarters, Macharia advised teachers not to give a cent for free services.
“We’ve tried to spread the word, but some teachers still fall prey to these fraudsters. It’s unfortunate. Why should one pay for a free process?” she posed.“They call you; you send them money and then they change their number. When you call later, the number is out of service.” Macharia said.
Teachers who were asked admitted to have gone through such tormenting processes when seeking service from their employer. Teachers are free to share their experience in the comment section below.
