The Kenya national examination council has started the Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education examination today march 22nd. The Examination is scheduled to run till Wednesday March 22nd. The exam starts with stern warnings of any malpractice, overseeing the opening of the Langata west container, KNEC chief executive Mercy Korogo said, “No exam malpractice should be witnessed during this exams,”
The examination which has delayed for five months is usually done towards the end of every year. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the exam had to be postponed, given that schools were closed. The examination shall be done with strict atherance to the Covid-19 prevention measures including social distancing and wearing of masks.
This year, KNEC registered 1,191,725 candidates who are expected to sit for the examination from 28,467 examination centers across the country.
