Mount Kenya Foundation to announce Raila’s 2022 Running mate
The current Kenyan Deputy President, William Ruto met and managed to chat with his key opponent in the 2022 General Election; Raila Odinga (ODM leader) during Mzee Gonjera Abel’s burial in Kisii County. The burial ceremony of Kisii County Joash Maangi’s father was held in Gucha district, Kisii County. Since many Kenyans have been wondering who Raila Odinga’s running mate is going to be, the party decided to make it clear that they already have someone in place to run the Deputy Presidency position. The top presidential candidates DP. William Ruto, Raila Odinga, and Musalia Mudavadi landed in the Kisii region to woo residents for a place in the 2022 presidential elections. Previously, the Mount Kenyan region has given Kenya a total of three presidents; i.e. the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Emilio Mwai Kibaki, and the current Kenyan President Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta. As we all know, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta has been rallying for the ODM leader (Raila Odinga) while the OKA (One Kenya Alliance) leaders have been bidding against our current DP. William Ruto.
Kenyans are still not certain about who is going to take the Mount Kenya leader seat for a couple of months now. However, the Mount Kenya top leaders have affirmed Kenyans that they already have someone who’s going to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta and possibly lead Kenyans in the upcoming presidential term. They however did not disclose the leader’s name claiming that it would be quite inappropriate to reveal the name at the moment. The Mount Kenya Foundation leaders have however promised to announce the individual’s name come the month of February.
