Self-confessed serial killer Masten Wanjala killed by an angry mob in Bungoma
It was good news after the self-confessed serial killer Masten Wanjala was killed by a mob in Mukweha village in Bungoma. Masten Wanjala over the past few days has been taking over the news headlines after he escaped police custody at Jogoo Road police station where he was detained on 13th October. Masten Wanjala was caught by the police and kept in custody where he escaped.
Three police officers were later arrested that day after it was known that they aided Masten Wanjala to escape police custody. The case was reported to the OCPD of the region that deployed a search team to look for the serial killer but their efforts were in vain. It was earlier this morning that a civilian reported to the chief of Mukweha village Boniface Ndiera, that Masten Wanjala was spotted in the area and was killed by an angry mob that was following him. It was reported that Masten Wanjala tried to escape and hid in his neighbor’s house. The angry mob broke down the house and beat him to death, only to leave him for the police. This came as a relief after days of searching for the serial killer Masten Wanjala, which bore no fruits.
