Regions with the lowest number of births in the last six years for Kenyan teachers include ; Taita taveta 278, Lamu 266, Kirinyaga 260, Baringo 257, Marsabit 174, Isiolo 100, Wajir 88, Samburu 14, Elgeyo Marakwet 7, West Pokot 5 and Turkana None.

Teachers medical allowance

Previously the medical allowance for teachers in a month was between Ksh.995 and Ksh.4,412. This was however not enough to cover a teachers healthcare and welfare. On the New health cover, the inpatient cover is between Ksh.750,000 and Ksh.2.5 million.
